Alida was born from the synergy of two women that shared decades of passion within the fashion industry.
Inspired by iconic female figures of Hollywood they wanted to fuse a contemporary vision of woman strength with a halo of glamour from the past.
The name Alida is an anagram of the two founder’s names but also directly refers to Alida Valli a sultry and liberated Italian actress of the 50’s. The founder’s mission is to source the products showcased on the site from the most refined European collections, bringing to the market hidden gems of craftmanship that are not immediately available to the public.
